Aramark designs the culinary concept of the Oberhaching Sports School

As one of the leading service providers in Germany for catering and service management, Aramark will take over the gastronomic management of the Oberhaching Sports School when it re-opens next Monday. With the culinary offer, every athlete gets his own individual expense, whether athlete, hockey or soccer player. Guests can enjoy healthy and balanced dishes, for example as part of the foodboost program, which are nutritious and rich in vegetable proteins and complex carbohydrates. Furthermore, Aramark takes care of the physical well-being of the seminar and conference participants and takes over the catering at major events. In the evening, both hotel guests and external visitors can come together in the adjoining Bierstüberl.

From June 1st 2021 our guests will be able to enjoy Aramarks dishes specially designed for athletes. “Our chefs and nutritionists have designed a concept for the Oberhaching Sports school that is precisely tailored to the needs of hotel guests who want to achieve top sporting performance,” says Eric Klemm, Regional Manager Business Development at Aramark. From June 20 Aramark employees will be offering full board for up to 230 guests per day.

Individual creations

“We have the opportunity to respond individually to the needs of different types of athletes, for example if the diet has to be particularly rich in carbohydrates or protein-based. In any case, there is a lot of fruit and vegetables in the foreground, but also vegetable protein sources such as legumes or ancient grains from our foodboost concept, which provide a lot of energy, ”adds Klemm. In addition to hotel guests, whether athletes or participants in events and conferences, external guests can also enjoy delicious meals in the adjoining beer garden. Since many children’s tournaments also take place in the Oberhaching Sports School, Aramark is also geared to the nutritional needs of the youngest.
