Event „Coden & Kicken“ at the sports school
Digitization is a topic that people have been dealing with intensively for several years. The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) and the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs are also aware of the importance of digitization and technical understanding for the future.
Together with the BFV, the BayCode initiative of the ReDI School of Digital Integration Munich has now organized the “Coden und Kicken” event at our sports school in Oberhaching, which combines football training and programming workshops. A total of 100 children took part, including around 15 Ukrainian youths. “We have many refugee children from Ukraine in our ReDI community, whom we would like to help on their way to Germany,” explains Angelina Luister, Project Lead BayCod.
“Coden & Kicken” opened up new possibilities for the participants in many ways: the children immersed themselves in the world of technology and gained an understanding of programming. But they also learned the basics of football and a some skills. They maintained relationships and made new friends.
